PCI/AGP Grab Bag

Time for a little humble brag. After a quick scan of Craigslist yesterday morning, I saw a fairly non-descript ad mentioning a few old video cards for sale without many details of the actual cards available. I was able to recognize two of the close-up photos of cards that were included: an ATI Radeon 9500 and Radeon X1300 Pro, both AGP versions of the cards. Even then, they were copied from an online source so who knew if they were the actual cards this person had on hand.

That’s a lot of cards…

I reached out to the seller and met up that afternoon to make a deal. Well, they weren’t wrong about having a couple. In fact, they had more than a couple! A variety of Radeon cards, a few older Matrox cards, a number of TV Tuner and video capture cards, and even a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS was included. I’m not exactly sure how this person came across such a bundle, but they were willing to let it all go for nearly nothing. Sure enough, I was hooked.

I took all of these beauties home with me, and I’ll be testing them out one by one in the upcoming days. I plan on keeping a few of them and using them in my builds, but I don’t have a use for every card. I might put up a few listings on this website and/or Ebay. Let me know if you’re interested in any of these, and I’ll see what I can do.
